Art Over Destruction Launches Expanded Youth Arts & Cultural Impact Initiative for 2025

Nonprofit Announces New Media Program, Community Workshops, and Global Cultural Collaborations

Salt Lake City, Utah — 11-23-2025 — Art Over Destruction (AOD), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring youth through creative expression, today announced the expansion of its art-education and community-media programs for 2025. The initiative includes new after-school workshops, public art collaborations, and the launch of AOD Media — a youth-focused cultural storytelling division producing photography, video, and public-interest coverage centered on art and community impact.

AOD’s programs provide teens and young adults with safe, expressive, and empowering environments to explore art, develop confidence, and build positive pathways. Since its founding, AOD has worked with underserved youth, schools, community centers, and local creatives to spark inspiration and reduce destructive behaviors through hands-on creativity.

“Our mission has always been simple: inspire young minds through art. In 2025, we’re pushing that mission further — more access, more creativity, more impact.”
— BASHA, Founder of Art Over Destruction

AOD Media — Documenting Culture, Creativity, and Community

As part of the new initiative, AOD Media will document:

  • Youth art workshops and creative programs

  • Public art, murals, and cultural events

  • Community stories and public-interest media

  • Collaborative projects with artists, schools, and nonprofits

The division will also provide youth with early exposure to photography, videography, and documentary storytelling — equipping the next generation with powerful creative tools.

2025 Programming Highlights

  • Expanded after-school art classes in multiple communities

  • Public art collaborations including murals and youth-driven installations

  • Youth media training in photography and video storytelling

  • Cultural exchange projects connecting Utah students with global creatives

  • New AOD Media coverage of local arts, festivals, and community events

AOD’s Impact Continues to Grow

AOD’s programs have served youth communities both locally and internationally, including partnerships in Utah, the West Coast, and educational programs abroad. The organization continues to build connections with schools, social workers, artists, and local governments to expand its positive reach.
